Entrepreneurship Education dalam Pandangan Theory of Planned Behavior

Abstract
Global Entrepreneurship Index 2019 mencatatkan Indonesia dalam posisi ke 75 dalam hal pemeringkatan kewirausahaan secara global. Apabila dibandingkan dengan negaranegara ASEAN, posisi Indonesia berada di bawah Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, dan Vietnam. Indonesia telah menghadapi krisis sejak tahun 1996 yang berdampak pada perekonomian dan kesejahteraan rakyat. Seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah masyarakat yang berada pada rentang usia yang siap kerja, kemungkinan lapangan kerja juga semakin langka. Lapangan pekerjaan menjadi momok bagi masyarakat yang tidak mampu bersaing di era Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean yang dimulai pada tahun 2015. Akibatnya, angka pengangguran di Indonesia semakin meningkat, terutama di kota-kota besar. Hal ini dikarenakan ketatnya persaingan antar tenaga kerja yang tidak lagi berskala nasional, melainkan munculnya persaingan pekerjaan dengan warga negara asing. Pemerintah telah aktif dalam menggalakkan Pendidikan kewirausahaan bahkan sejak tahap Pendidikan paling awal hingga perguruan tinggi. Meninjau fenomena tersebut, peneliti ingin mengetahui bagaimana peran entrepreneurship education dengan melihat aspek attitude, subjective norm, dan perceived behavioral control dalam meningkatkan entrepreneurial intention. Peneliti memilih siswa -siswi SMA atau SMK di Surabaya sebagai objek penelitian. Analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah SEM-PLS dengan jumlah responden 308. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Entrepreneurship Education berpengaruh terhadap Attitude towards Entrepreneurship, Subjective Norm dan Perceived Behavioral Control. Attitude toward Entrepreneurship berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Entrepreneurial Intention. Subjective Norm tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Entrepreneurial Intention. Perceived Behavior Control berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Entrepreneurial Intention. Entrepreneurship Education Programmes berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Entrepreneurial intention.
